How the Oyster card works

1. Use your Barclaycard OnePulse in the same way as an Oyster card. It’s simply an Oyster card on your credit card

2. Before you travel, pre-load it with pay as you go, a Travelcard or a bus pass. Find out more

3. You get all the features and benefits available on a standard Oyster card including the fastest and easiest way to travel around London on buses, Tube, tram, DLR and London Overground

4. If you’ve already got an Oyster card, you could transfer your existing balance to your Barclaycard OnePulse.

• Auto top-up

  • Set up Auto top-up and we’ll automatically top up your Oyster pay as you go balance with £20 or £40 whenever it falls below £5. This means you’ll never have to queue to top up your Oyster pay as you go balance again
  • Best of all, we can set up Auto top-up for you when you call to activate your Barclaycard OnePulse card

Got an Oyster card already? No problem.

• If you buy monthly or longer period Travelcards and have more than one month left, you can simply transfer the credit to your Barclaycard OnePulse card online at the TFL Oyster card website or by calling the Oyster helpline on 0845 330 9876 (call charges apply)
• We suggest that for all other Oyster products you continue to use your old Oyster card until the Travelcard, bus pass or pay as you go expires
